Results can vary
Our converters are built from Microsoft's published file format documentation and tested with real mailboxes, including opening the converted files in Outlook. Even so, email files come from many Outlook versions, settings and third-party tools, and some are damaged. A conversion may miss items or fail on a file we have never seen. The converter pages describe what is and isn't included, for example that the OST to PST converter handles emails but not calendars or contacts.
Not professional advice
The guides on this site explain how email files work and how to use the converted results. They are general information, not legal, compliance or IT advice for your organisation. For e-discovery, legal holds or regulated records, use a process your organisation has approved.
Your responsibility
You decide which files to convert and what to do with the results. Make sure you have the right to access the mailbox, and keep the original file until you have checked the converted one.
