Your files
To convert a file, the converter has to read it. Depending on the conversion, this happens on your own device or on our servers. Either way, the file you choose and the file you download are used only to carry out that conversion. We don't look at the emails inside, share them, sell them or use them to train anything.
Files processed on our servers are deleted automatically once the conversion is finished. We don't keep backups of them. The copy you download is yours to keep or delete.
What the website itself receives
Like any website, our hosting provider receives the standard information a browser sends when it loads a page: the IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser type. It uses this to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse, and keeps it in short-lived server logs. We don't combine it with anything else or use it to identify you.
Cookies and tracking
We don't set cookies, run analytics, show ads or load trackers from other companies. Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first, and any cookies that aren't strictly necessary would only be set with your consent.
When you contact us
If you email us, through the contact page or directly, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you, and we don't add you to any mailing list. Messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Sharing
We don't sell or rent personal information. The only third parties involved are our hosting provider and our email provider, each handling data only to provide its service to us.
Children
The site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. In practice that only applies to emails you have sent us. Write to hello@onlineemailconverter.com and we'll respond.
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
