Who we are
We build tools for people who need their email in another format. Email ends up in odd places: an old Outlook file after a job change, a Gmail download, a folder of saved messages. Opening them usually means installing a program or setting up an account you no longer have. Here you select the file, convert it and download the result.
The converter reads OST, PST, MBOX, OLM, EML, MSG files and turns them into PST, PDF, EML, MBOX, HTML, TXT, DOC, CSV. All 45 conversions are available in the converter on the homepage.
Our mission
Our mission is to make email conversion simple and free. Anyone with a saved email file should be able to reach their messages in the format they need, without buying software, setting up an account or giving away a password.
Our vision
We want a world where your email is never trapped in one program or one old file. Your messages belong to you, and moving them from one format to another should be as easy as selecting a file. We plan to keep adding conversions and guides, and to say plainly what each one keeps and what it leaves out.
Why use our converter
- Free to use: There is no account, no trial version and no paid plan waiting after the first few files.
- Nothing to install: You select a file, convert it and download the result. You don't need Outlook or any other email program for the conversion.
- Your password stays yours: We work with the saved file you select, so we never ask for your email password or access to your mailbox.
- Tested with real files: We read converted mailboxes back and compare the email and attachment counts, and we open PST, Word and Excel results in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Honest about the results: Each guide says what a conversion keeps, what it leaves out and what we haven't tested yet.
- Clear limits: OST, PST, MBOX and OLM files can be up to 100 MB each, and the EML and MSG guides take up to 10 files at a time. The converter tells you straight away if a file is over the limit.
Your privacy
Your files are used only to make the converted copy you download. We don't read your emails or share them. The privacy policy has the details.
